Higgsfield — a powerful tool with a damaged reputation
Higgsfield is a video and image generation platform that brings a claimed 50+ models into one place: for images — Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2, Seedream; for video — Seedance 2, Kling, Veo, Hailuo, WAN and others. Add hundreds of cinematic presets, camera moves and ready templates. The interface is genuinely convenient, and promos and discounts run almost constantly.
Pricing
There is a free tier to try it out. Paid plans: Starter — $19/mo (270 credits), Plus — $59/mo (1,200 credits), Ultra — $129/mo (3,000 credits). Billed annually, Plus and Ultra are noticeably cheaper — around $47 and $99/mo — while Starter costs the same. Billing is credit-based: top models burn credits fast, and topped-up credits expire after 90 days.
Why the low score
Despite a strong product, Higgsfield has serious trust problems. In December 2025 – January 2026 the company mass-banned users and froze credits — including people who paid with an ordinary card and committed no fraud. It officially blamed "gray payments," but honest subscribers were hit too. Alongside this came stealth switches from monthly to annual billing without consent, cuts to limits on expensive plans without refunds, and aggressive, misleading marketing. In February 2026 the company's official X account was even suspended.
Its Trustpilot rating (≈4.0) looks inflated: there are well-founded suspicions of fake positive reviews sitting next to many angry stories about bans and missing refunds.
Verdict
In short: the product is convenient and capable, but the company systematically lets paying customers down. Until it fixes how it treats users and handles refunds, it can't score above average. Try the free tier and don't pre-pay for long.
